The limited edition print of "One Day in Eternity" will only have 5 prints in the edition. Two 8x10s, two 11x14s, and one 16x20 print will be created. I will not be opening prints for this painting again. Each print will be hand signed and numbered according to its size. The 16x20 print will be a one of a kind print. 
 
I created this painting last year when my heart was crying out for healing. My husband and I had just found out we lost our second baby. To make things even harder, we couldn't mourn together because I found out two days before he left to lead youth camp in Colorado. I spent the week at my parents trying to wrap my mind around my pain. I asked God more questions than I can remember. The main one being "why?"
 
As I sat alone on the back porch staring at a blank canvas, grasping for peace and comfort, I saw a hummingbird flutter past. Then I saw two, and then suddenly ten, and finally I think I counted about fourteen. At first I noticed them..how can you not notice fourteen birds darting around, right? But then it became more than that. They caught more than just my attention and I felt a sense of peace as I watched them dance through the air. As I continued to pray for comfort God said, "look around you." I discovered that hummingbirds symbolize eternity. It's not a biblical symbol but God did create their wings to move in the path of infinity. God spoke through His creation and brought me comfort through these little birds. Saying "One day in eternity, Kelli...one day you will hold your baby...and for now I am here holding you and holding your child."
