"Blue Skies Ahead" is a digital painting of a Great Blue Heron. The digital painting is hand-drawn, painted, and then printed on fine art paper. It comes in a variety of sizes such as, 8x10, 11x14, 16x20, and 18x24.
This collection of bird paintings began with an online art challenge titled Birdtober. I began the challenge with two goals: experiment and explore. It was more about discovering something new than creating a collection to release. After the first few days, I knew I found something special and I believe it is going to launch me into something new with my paintings on canvas. I hope you enjoy this collection as much as I have enjoyed the process of creating it.

Prints are PRINTED TO ORDER: Once you place an order it will be sent to the local printer and they will create a beautiful print for you. I approve, hand sign, and package each print. Please allow time for processing and shipping. The processing time is dependant on the number of prints in line. (About 7-10 business days)
